Hi! My name is Kayleigh Castaneda. I graduated from the Sydney Poitier New American Film School at Arizona State University in December of 2024. I am a passionate filmmaker, actress, and screenwriter who strives to create captivating stories that resonate with people.

I was born in Las Vegas, Nevada (but what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas) and grew up in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. I have always loved movies and television series and spent much of my youth daydreaming about what I wanted to see on screen. After some soul-searching, I discovered my passion for filmmaking and screenwriting!

So far, I have had the honor of working on several amazing short films and have held a variety of positions on set, including production design, makeup and wardrobe, background acting, and slating. I use Final Draft and Arc Studios to write my scripts, and I have had the amazing opportunity to write, produce, and direct several projects.

Being a screenwriter allows me to work remotely while also using my writing software, and I am currently available for hire!
